Welcome Day — MEL and MHLP Cohort 2018
Today, we were thrilled to welcome our 2018 cohort at the Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre — 69 MEL and 15 MHLP students.
After warm greetings from Dr. James Olson, Interim Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science, and Dr. Darran Dahl, Senior Associate Dean of the Sauder School of Business, the students enthusiastically jumped in to the ice-breaker and team building exercises with Vancouver Theatre Sports — a professional theatre organization dedicated to growth and exploration through exceptional improv-based work.
Dr. Tamara Etmannski, Former Academic Director, then congratulated our new students for being hand-selected for this prestigious professional program and handed them over to the program directors for their program-specific introduction and presentation. Our welcome day ended with campus tours with MEL and MHLP alumni.
